One of Virginia’s premier tournament facilities will bring champions together on 16 year-round synthetic turf fields in Chesterfield County.

Families will have access to extensive parking, on-site facilities, a central vendor plaza and a championship atmosphere built for a memorable weekend.

Early-bird deadline, remaining balances due for previously accepted teams and 75% refund deadline excluding the nonrefundable deposit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my team have to win a qualifying tournament to participate?

No. Division champions from designated qualifying events receive automatic qualification, but competitive teams may also apply at large. At-large applications are reviewed according to competitive level, division availability and overall field balance.

What do qualified champions receive?

Qualified champions receive automatic acceptance, a position protected for 14 calendar days and $150 off the regular Tournament of Champions entry fee.

How does registration work?

Qualified champions, invited finalists and at-large applicants register through the same SportsHeadz system. UnitedGoals USA will verify qualifications and review applications before final acceptance. Qualified champions will receive a private $150 discount code with their qualification instructions. Accepted teams will then use their team-management portal to complete payment and other requirements.

How many games are guaranteed?

Every team is guaranteed a minimum of three games. Each division will include group play or a comparable preliminary format leading to a true championship game.

When will teams play?

Teams should expect two games Saturday, one game Sunday morning and championship rounds Sunday afternoon or evening. Final schedules depend on division composition and are subject to change.

Can qualified teams change their roster?

Yes. Qualification belongs to the qualifying team and coach within the participating club or program and is not limited to the exact roster used at the qualifying event. All Tournament of Champions players must be properly registered and age-eligible.

Are guest players permitted?

Yes. Unlimited guest players are permitted within the applicable maximum roster size. Every player must be added to the official roster, be age-eligible and complete the required waiver by the published deadline.

What are the roster limits?

7v7: 14 players 9v9: 16 players 11v11: 22 players

Is this a stay-to-play event?

Teams based more than 90 miles from River City Sportsplex will participate in the official event hotel program unless alternative arrangements are approved by UnitedGoals USA. Accepted teams will manage housing requirements through the SportsHeadz team portal.

When will hotel booking become available?

UnitedGoals USA is targeting January 1 for the launch of official hotel options. Availability and booking instructions will be communicated to accepted teams.

When is the schedule released?

The target schedule-release date is August 5, 2027.

What awards will be presented?

First- and second-place players will receive custom Tournament of Champions medals. Every division champion will also receive a team trophy and automatic qualification for the 2028 Tournament of Champions.

Where can I find the official rules?

Official tournament rules and competition policies will be published on UnitedGoalsUSA.com before the event.
