2026 Zoo City Summer Classic – North Carolina’s Premier Soccer Tournament

Launching in 2026, the Zoo City Summer Classic is a full-field youth soccer tournament for U9–U19 boys and girls teams. Formats include 7v7 for U9–U10, 9v9 for U11–U12, and 11v11 for U13–U19, all played at the Cone Health ZooCity Sportsplex in Asheboro, NC.
What to Expect at the 2026 Zoo City Summer Classic

- 9v9: U11–U12 (2014–2015s)
- Max Roster Size: 16 Players
- 11v11: U13–U19 (2007–2013s)
- Max Roster Size: 22 Players (18 dressed per game)
- Using 2025-26 USYS Age Cut-offs
- 3+ Guaranteed Matches
- 7v7 and 9v9 play 2×20-min halves, 5-min halftime
- 11v11 play 2×24-min halves, 3-min halftime
- U9-U19 Divisions
- Separate Boys & Girls divisions
- Premier, Gold, and Silver competition tiers
- Capacity up to 60 teams per day
- Divisions may fill quickly, which could cause other age groups to close early.

Girls divisions will play on Saturday, May 30th. Boys divisions will play on Sunday, May 31st.
📝 How do I register my team?
How to Register A Team For An Event (Support Video)
- Head to the GotSport Registration Page
- Search for your team in the search box on the right-hand side of the screen
- Fill out the New Team info and click ‘Save‘
- Click ‘Continue’ with the team you are registering
- Complete the team registration form.
📝 How do my players register?
Once accepted, you’ll receive an email with the player registration link. Forward this link to your families and have each player register under your team name. Once submitted, players are auto-added to your roster.
📝 When will the schedule be released?
The schedule will be made and shared 7-10 days prior to the event, along with other information to help our participants enjoy the weekend!

🔁 What’s the refund policy?
Teams that withdraw by April 1, 2025 at 5 PM EST will receive a 75% refund. After this date, no refunds are given. If the event is canceled due to weather or unforeseen issues, partial refunds may be offered after event expenses are covered.
